Mykonos is a fashionable destination for the jet set crowd.  It is famous for its cosmopolitan character and affluent visitors.  It features one of the most intense nightlife and party scenes anywhere in the country.

The island plays host to picturesque villages featuring the ideals of Cycladic architecture in its houses, streets, churches and buildings.  Ports at Hora and Delos can be reached via ferry from Piraeus, Santorini, and Paros.  Mykonos also has an airport with regular flights from Athens and Thessaloniki.
